FY2009-FY2012 Draft Transportation Improvment Program (TIP)

The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is the regionally agreed-upon list of priority transportation projects. The TIP shows estimated costs and schedule by project phase and is financially constrained based on the amount of federal, state, and local funds that will be available for transportation projects in the region. The TIP can be amended after it is adopted and is updated every two years.

The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) released the FY2009 - FY2012 Draft TIP for public comment from May 2, 2008 to June 2, 2008. The Pennsylvania Draft TIP includes 350 projects totaling over $4 billion for the next four years. A public meeting will be held on May 14, 2008 from 4pm to 6pm at DVRPC Offices. Written comments can be submitted via email. Public comments on the TIP will be considered prior to presentation to the DVRPC Board for adoption in June 2008.
