Background Issues
As part of the Plan update, an issues document was created for review and comment. These documents the "context" for the development of policies and action plans for each Element contained in the Plan.
Public Opinion Survey
In 2007 a public opinion survey for Landscapes2 was conducted and tallied. Over 8,000 responses were received from all over the County. The survey identified a clear set of issues important to the public.
Focus Group Sessions
The Chester County Planning Commission performed a series of 12 focus group sessions during the first quarter of 2007 to identify planning issues to be considered during the update to Landscapes. Focus group sessions included specific interest groups to gain their perspective on planning issues.
